Earn Some Extra Income with New Little Blessing
Stockless Retailers:
Here's how drop shipping works.
1.) You open an Internet Store, with a shopping cart and the ability to accept credit cards.
2.) You find a distributor who is willing to drop ship the products you want to sell.
3.) You establish an account as a retailer with the distributor(s) you choose.
4.) You receive images and descriptions of the products you want to sell from the distributor, and post them on your Internet Store.
5.) A customer surfs into your Internet Store, and falls in love with a product that you have priced at, say, $80. They purchase the item with their credit card. Your Store charges their credit card $80 plus your shipping fee.
6.) You email the order to your distributor, along with the customer's name and address.
7.) The distributor sends the product directly to your customer, with YOUR Store's name on the package.
8.) The distributor charges you the wholesale price of, say, $48.00, plus shipping.
9.) Your customer gets a cool product from your store shipped to their door, and they tell all their friends about you, and you make even more money. There you have it. You just made an $32.00 profit on ONE item. You didn't have to buy a whole bunch of the product and keep it in your warehouse, hoping you would sell it. You didn't have to pay to have it shipped to you, and then pay to ship it to your customer. All you did was send an email to your distributor. Keep in mind that there are a LOT of people out there who want you to believe that they are drop ship distributors. You need to find REPUTABLE distribution companies. A good rule to go by: a real wholesale drop ship distributor does NOT charge you a setup fee for an account.
That's the drop shipping process in a nutshell.

In Memory of a Woman Who Chose Life
This is the very touching true story told by Doug Phillips on his blog,
In Memory of a Woman Who Chose Life
He begins with this line:
Forty years ago, a very courageous woman chose not to abort her baby.
This is another reminder of the nonsense about a woman’s right to choose in the subject of abortion, it’s about the life or death of a baby.

A quote to think about….
"The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing. But in our culture, we apply for a curse and reject blessings. Something is wrong with this picture." Doug Phillips, Vision Forum Ministries

Learning from what God has created.
I love to hear and read about stories like these. Once again we humans have figured out something astounding. However, it was because we were copying something God has already created. We knew how to copy His creation using the intelligent brains He gave us. Read this story about researchers who used the study of Tree-frog feet patterns to inspire a new glue.

BlueBerry French Toast Recipe & Rolls
A couple of weeks ago I was asked to help assist the head cook at a weekend church retreat. This was the first time I had helped in that way and I have a new respect for the cooks at a retreat/camp. We got up early to be in the kitchen by 5Am. After breakfast was served we ate then headed back into the kitchen to prepare for lunch. After eating lunch you go back to the kitchen for supper preparation. After supper you head back to the kitchen again to prepare for snacks and to get ready for breakfast. I realized cooking for such a large crew has a new set of rules and ways to get things done versus in a home kitchen. It was neat to learn some new tips on cooking and baking. The head cook Shelia didn’t have room in the ovens for baked potatoes. She wrapped the potatoes individually in foil and boiled them in a pot on the stove. Those potatoes ended up tasting like they had been baked in the oven. I wanted to post a few of the recipes I wrote down from the weekend. This Blueberry French Toast was a big hit! One of the cooks got up at 3:30 Am Sunday morning to make Cinnamon Rolls. I didn’t know there could be a specific technique to cinnamon rolls but there was. These were some of the best cinnamon rolls I have had so I’ll post those later.
Blueberry French Toast from Shelia E.
9x13 pan
12 slices white bread, crust removed
2 8-oz. packages cream cheese
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
12 eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
Sauce:
1 cup sugar
2 Tb cornstarch
1 cup water
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 Tb butter
Cut bread into 1” cubes and place in greased baking pan. Cut cream cheese into 1” cubes-place over bread. Top with blueberries and remaining bread. In a large bowl beat eggs, add milk and maple syrup or honey, then mix well. Pour over bread mixture. Cover & chill 8 hours or overnight. Remove from fridge 30 minutes before baking. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover. Bake 25-30 minutes more until set.
In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch –add water. Bring to a boil over med. Heat, boil for 3 min, stirring constantly. Stir in blueberries, reduce heat. Simmer for 8-10 minutes or until berries burst. Stir in butter until melted. Serve over French Toast.
Rolls from Valerie P.
9 cups flour (can mix whole wheat and white bread flour)
2 ½ cups scalded milk (scalded 120 degrees) or use warm water and instant milk powder. If you use the instant milk powder you don’t need to scald it.
1 cup honey
2 eggs
½ cup oil
Dry-3 TB instant yeast
1 Tb sea salt
If using the wheat and white flour add the wheat flour first (due to gluten). A variation to this is to add some crushed corn flakes or soak Grape Nuts in water, when soaked add as part of the 9 cups flour. This will give your rolls added texture. Valerie used some crushed cinnamon cereal in her rolls and they tasted great.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees or if using a convection oven 325 degrees at 12-15 minutes.

Passionate Housewives:Desperate for God Giveaway
In a delightfully fresh and honest way, this book addresses these issues head-on and provides fresh vision for the hopeful homemaker. Hear a former "Christian" feminist share how she went from a die-hard homemaker-in-training to a dedicated career woman and then back again -- after God gripped her heart. See the hollow counterfeit of whitewashed feminism and "me-ology" destroyed. And consider the beautiful picture painted in Scripture of the truly fulfilled homemaker who glories in the hopeful calling God created for her.
Pull up a chair, dust off the cookie crumbs, and join Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald as they lay aside stereotypes like the "Stepford wife" and dispel such myths as the 1950s "perfect homemaker." Laughter and tears will flow, and hopefully you will be infused with a renewed vision for victory as a wife and mother. Discover what it means to be a passionate housewife "desperate" for God alone!

How To Find Free Stuff
Here's a good article to start you down the frugal road. My first stops personally would be the free samples and free memory. I need some extra memory! I'm a big user of sticky notes, a purse calender, and to do list.
Everybody likes free stuff. So put your wallet away and get out those pencils. We went out to find the best deals out there for the taking.
1: Free Samples
Let's face it...free stuff is the best stuff. You have to be careful of free-product programs...your inbox may be flooded with ads or there may be hidden fees. So read the fine print carefully.
Here's one Web site that connects manufacturers with consumers who test products. That's http://www.startsampling.com/. You'll also want to check out company Web sites directly like tide.com and olay.com to sign up for discount coupons and new-product samples.
2: Free Phone Aid
We've all been charged for dialing 4-1-1, but now there's free directory assistance. That number is 800-FREE-411. You will have to listen to a few seconds of advertising. But you'll get your number at no charge.
And here's another handy phone tool...If you really want to get out of a meeting...or a date, you can "receive" a fake call. Check out popularitydialer.com. Set the time you need to receive the call and which excuse you want to use...(like the "return to the office" call), and voila! you'll receive a "fake" call with a recorded message that demands you leave whatever you're doing and go back to work.
3: Free Memory
If Post-its just aren't cutting it as your scheduling tool, there are some free tools on the Web that can help. Check out memotome.com. You'll never have to say a happy belated birthday again. Just put in your e-mail, and program in the events and dates you need to be reminded of. There's also birthdayalarm.com. Membership is free and you'll even get free invites and party planning tools.
4: Free Books
If you're an avid reader, you may really love paperbackswap.com. All you have to do is choose a book you'd like to read from a list and you'll receive it in the mail.
At the same time, you list the books you want to get rid of. When someone requests to read it, all you have to do is pop it in the mail. You will have to pay for postage, but it's usually around $2.13.
5: Financial Planning
Before you invest in a financial planner, check out some of these online tools. To figure out how much you'll need in retirement, check out this calculator. All you have to do is punch in some basic info about your income and savings. If you want to take a peek inside your portfolio to see how your funds are doing, Morningstar.com has a great tool on its Web site called Instant X-ray.
