Saying "I do"..then quickly "I don't"

I read on Friday of a German politician, Gabriele Pauli, and her statement that marriage should expire in 7 years. I had to wonder where she came up with the seven years. I told my sister Caroline about it and the first thing she said was, “and what if you are happy?” Since then I read this post by Crystal and another good posting by Anne on the subject.
